Ponsworthy

2023

We were brought in to renovate the interiors of these two historic granite buildings in the Dartmoor village of Ponsworthy. Lime render was used predominantly to assist with the breathability of the original walls, often this being bag rubbed over the existing stone surface to maintain the undulating texture, reduce condensation and provide more insulation. New woodburners, oak flooring, underfloor heating, microcement bathrooms, niches and a copper bath, together with lively Bauwerk lime paint on the majority of the walls have all achieved the desired effect.
